Overview

Antara Senior Living, a wholly owned subsidiary of Max India, was founded in 2011 by Tara Singh Vachani, who serves as the company's Executive Chairperson. It is one of the earliest organized developers of retirement and assisted living communities in India. The company established its first independent senior residential community in Dehradun in 2013, which became operational in 2017.

The company operates through two primary business lines: Antara Senior Living and Antara Assisted Care Services. Under its senior living division, it develops and manages independent residential communities located in Dehradun and Noida. Its assisted care division operates dedicated facilities for assisted living, memory care, and rehabilitation in Gurugram, Noida, and Bengaluru, alongside a home healthcare network providing medical and nursing services in Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, and Chennai.

Additionally, Antara operates AGEasy, a retail and service platform launched in 2023 that provides health, mobility, and wellness products tailored for seniors. In February 2026, the company expanded its service offerings by partnering with Star Union Dai-ichi Life Insurance to integrate financial literacy modules into its senior wellness initiatives.
