Apollo HomeCare is a division of the Apollo Hospitals Group, founded in 1983 by Dr. Prathap C. Reddy. The division was established in 2015 to extend medical services into patients’ homes, with a focus on recovery after hospital discharge and the management of chronic conditions. It operates in several major Indian cities, including Hyderabad, Chennai, Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata, Pune, Mysore, Madurai, and Mumbai. Over the years, Apollo HomeCare has been recognized in healthcare industry forums, receiving awards such as the Times Healthcare Achievers Award in 2018 and the FICCI Annual Healthcare Excellence Award in 2021.

It continued its expansion and, between 2024 and 2026, introduced several new programs and initiatives. In May 2025, it launched a rapid response service in Bangalore to provide doctor consultations within 90 minutes, with plans to extend the service to Delhi and Hyderabad. In July 2025, an integrated palliative care program was introduced in Delhi to support patients with life-limiting conditions, and earlier that year, a geriatric care initiative called Apollo Seniors First was established to coordinate ongoing care for older adults. Reports from early 2026 indicate that the division began incorporating AI-based workflows and remote monitoring to enable continuous patient health tracking outside hospital environments. Additional service expansions during this period included home-based hemodialysis and vaccination programs for conditions such as typhoid and shingles.
