Overview

Guardian Angel Home Care (GAHC), established in 2012, is a home healthcare provider in Kerala, India. In July 2019, it became the first home healthcare organization in South India to be accredited by the Quality and Accreditation Institute (QAI), New Delhi, and it continues to hold this accreditation. GAHC was also selected for the Stanford Seed Transformation Program by the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. The organization develops care plans tailored to each client. To maintain standards of quality and safety, all operational staff complete the Guardian Angel Care Program training, and all field personnel undergo medical screening for infectious diseases, including HIV, tuberculosis, and hepatitis.

Medical Services

Skilled Nursing: Registered nurses perform clinical procedures such as wound dressing, injections, catheterization, and monitoring of medical vitals.

Doctor Consultations: In‑home visits by doctors with expertise in geriatric and palliative care to assess treatment progress.

Physiotherapy & Rehab: Therapist‑led sessions for post‑stroke recovery, orthopedic rehabilitation, follow‑up after spinal or joint surgery, and management of arthritic pain.

Specialized Clinical Care: Care tailored to specific conditions, including palliative support for terminal illness, dementia management, and speech‑language therapy.

Non-Medical Services

Personal Care Assistance: Caregivers support daily activities such as bathing, grooming, and feeding.

Companion Care: Provides social interaction to reduce isolation and support emotional well‑being.

Respite Care: Short‑term professional care that allows family caregivers temporary relief.
